Terms of use
What you agree to by using this website. Project work is not covered here: that runs on a separate agreement the two of us sign.
What these terms cover
These terms are about this website: the pages you are reading and the brief form you can send from them. They are between you, as a visitor, and BYD Tech. Using the site means accepting them, and if you do not, close the tab.
They are not the agreement we do work under. If we build something for you, that runs on a separate written agreement signed by both sides, and that is where scope, price, schedule, who owns the code, confidentiality, and what happens if either side stops all live. Nothing on this website changes what that agreement says, and nothing that agreement says is restated here.
The registered legal name and address of the company behind BYD Tech are being finalized, and so are the governing law and the courts these terms answer to. They are deliberately left out rather than guessed at, because naming a jurisdiction before it is true would be worse than leaving the line blank. If that matters to you before we start, ask and we will tell you exactly where it stands.

The site is information, not an offer
Everything here describes how we work and the kind of thing we build. It is information. It is not an offer, not a quote, and not a commitment to build anything at any price on any date.
Scope, price, and schedule become real in a written proposal and in the signed agreement, nowhere else. If a page here and a signed document ever disagree, the signed document is the one that counts.
The product screens, example plans, and sample conversations drawn on this site are illustrations of how a project could look or run. They are not records of past work, and they are not a plan or a timeline for yours.
Sending us a brief
Use the brief form for a project you actually want to talk about. Please do not use it to advertise to us, to add us to someone's list, to submit automatically, or for anything unlawful. We delete submissions like that, and we limit how many can arrive from one place.
Send only what you are free to send. Do not paste someone else's confidential material, passwords, API keys, or other people's personal details into the form. It is an ordinary web form, not a secure drop box, and we have not promised you one.
Sending a brief does not by itself put us under a confidentiality obligation, and it does not create a contract. We do not pass briefs around, and what happens to one is set out on the privacy page. If something genuinely needs an NDA, ask for it before you send, not after.
We may reply, ask questions, or say no. We are not obliged to take a project on, and silence is not acceptance.
What belongs to whom
The writing, the layout, the design, and the code of this site, along with the BYD Tech name and logo, belong to us. You are welcome to read the site, print a page, and link to it from anywhere.
Copying it to put up as your own, or repackaging it as a template, is not welcome. Quoting a sentence or two with a link back is, and needs no permission.
Anything you send us through the form stays yours. We use it to answer you and to work out whether we are a fit, and for nothing else.
What we do not promise
We keep this site accurate and available as best we can, and we do not promise either. A page can go out of date, a link can break, and the site can be down while it is being deployed. Use your judgment before acting on something you read here.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that follow from relying on this website. If we are working for you, what each side is responsible for is in the signed agreement. That is what it is for, and it is not restated here.
Links that leave this site
Some links open other companies' sites, and the booking button is one of them: it opens Calendly in a new tab. We do not run those sites and we do not control what they do. Once you are on one, their terms and their privacy policy apply instead of ours.
When these terms change
We change this page when the site changes, and the date at the top moves with it. Using the site after a change means the version then on the page is the one that applies. There is no account here and no way for us to tell you individually, so the date is the notice.
